What Is the Mr and Mrs Stretchy Trend?

The Mr and Mrs Stretchy trend is a run of short AI-animated clips about Mr. Stretchy and Ms. Stretchy, a lanky clay-cartoon couple with huge ears, long rubbery noses and noodle arms, posted by the TikTok account @mr_.stretchy. Their everyday kitchen and living-room skits pulled millions of views in October 2026, and by the end of the month people were asking how to make a Mr and Mrs Stretchy video starring themselves. The Mr and Mrs Stretchy AI video maker on this site does exactly that: you upload a photo of you two, and AI turns you into the stretchy couple in a short kitchen skit.

Who Are Mr. and Ms. Stretchy?

They're a couple in a soft clay-cartoon style, animated with AI: every post is tagged #ai and #ai_video.

• Mr. Stretchy is very tall and lanky, with spiky brown hair, black rectangular glasses, huge pink ears, a long round nose, an olive T-shirt, khaki cargo shorts and giant bare feet.
• Ms. Stretchy wears a floral headscarf, a pink floral blouse, a long brown skirt and white socks.
• Their home is a cozy cottage: kitchens with sage-green cabinets and ivy, and warm sunlight everywhere.

Why It Took Off

• It's relatable. The jokes are ordinary couple moments (breakfast, a bouquet, a cup of coffee, who cleans up the mess) stretched to rubbery extremes.
• Nothing to translate. Most clips have no dialogue and only emoji captions.
• It kept coming. New clips landed every day at the end of October, and in the 14 days to Nov 2, 2026, 12 TikTok accounts posted Mr and Ms Stretchy clips.
• People want the "that's us" version. From late October, people started asking how to make the Mr and Mrs Stretchy video with their own couple photo, and how-to and template tutorial posts showed up on TikTok from Oct 29, 2026.

How the AI Version Works With Your Photo

Your video isn't cut from the creator's posts. It's a brand-new render made from your photo with Seedance 2.0 Mini, a video model from ByteDance.

What comes from the trend:

• The look: huge round ears, a long rubbery nose, skinny noodle arms and legs and big bare feet, in a clay-cartoon style.
• The setting: a cozy, sunlit cottage kitchen with sage-green cabinets, ivy, a wooden counter and a stove.
• The sound: a bouncy instrumental cartoon tune with sound effects, made together with the video. No vocals, no lyrics, and nobody speaks.

What comes from your photo:

• The cast: in a photo of you two, the person on the left plays part A and the one on the right plays part B. With two photos, photo 1 is A and photo 2 is B.
• One person, two parts: a single photo of one person plays both parts, like twins.
• Pets: a dog or cat becomes a clay-cartoon version of itself, standing upright.

The skit runs in the same order every time, timed to the length you pick:

1. A flips a pancake while B stirs a pot.
2. A tosses the pancake too high, and A's arm stretches all the way up to the ceiling to catch it.
3. B pulls A's long rubbery nose out like taffy and lets it snap back.
4. B stretches an arm across the kitchen to grab the cookie jar from a high shelf.
5. Both grin at the camera.

You don't write a prompt. It's AI, so results vary from render to render, and the exact kitchen and props aren't guaranteed.
